Francis D. McIntyre

Practicing Law Since 1991

Francis D. McIntyre, PC has built a litigation-based practice spanning more than three decades, representing individuals and businesses in a wide range of matters from inception through trial. He takes pride in providing timely, responsive, and personal service to every client he represents.

Mr. McIntyre has handled matters across virtually every facet of civil practice, including business-to-business disputes, breach of contract, commercial litigation, estate and guardianship proceedings, matrimonial matters, personal injury, real property and real estate disputes, commercial landlord-tenant cases, construction litigation, and employment matters. He represents clients in both New Jersey state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Representative Experience

Mr. McIntyre's recent matters reflect the breadth of his litigation practice. He has successfully handled estate undue influence and incapacity claims; a commercial landlord-tenant contract dispute exceeding $4.5 million; a limited liability company dissolution and distribution of LLC assets; a restaurant purchase and sale breach of contract dispute; real property title insurance claims; a multimillion-dollar business-to-business breach of contract claim; international business disputes involving the alleged receipt and shipment of defective products; personal injury matters; and consumer fraud and breach of contract claims arising from residential real estate transactions—including claims against home and termite inspectors, realtors, appraisers, and prior owners. He has also represented residential contractors in lien claims and successfully mediated complex matrimonial disputes, guiding parties to fair resolutions on asset distribution and support.

Transactional & Advisory Work

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. McIntyre is an experienced negotiator and drafter of estate planning documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives, as well as business purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases. His litigation background allows him to anticipate potential disputes and structure agreements in ways that better protect his clients' interests before problems arise.

Mr. McIntyre serves as corporate counsel to several small businesses, including one with annual sales exceeding $50 million. He is also an approved economic mediator for divorce matters and mediates both family and general civil disputes.
